After graduating from the Temple Annapolis Paul Mitchell Partner School, Briana joined the Hudson & Fouquet apprentice program. She is particularly fond of blowouts and soft, natural looking hair and loves working with long hair.
If you’re looking to add bounce to your current do, Briana offers a great tip: When it comes to blowouts, women should not always blow dry with their part. It makes it hard to get volume. Blow dry straight up!
When she’s not at Hudson & Fouquet, you will find Briana enjoying a good book and spending time with friends and family.
The Crofton native loves employing her artistry to let loose her creative freedom and find ways to make clients happy with their strands, no matter the color and length. To ensure she can provide the best possible services for clients, Brittany regularly seeks out new education so she can continue to hone and expand her expertise.
In her spare time, you will find Brittany painting and spending time with her niece…often at the same time.
Love that chicness you achieve just after your cut but need a tutorial on accomplishing that same look at home? Ask Elena Gwynn! For the past few years, the Temple Annapolis Paul Mitchell Partner School graduate has been honing her knack for helping clients attain a great look at home.
“I love to make every client feel great when he or she looks in the mirror and I really enjoy bringing out clients’ natural beauty and the features that flatter them the most,” explains the Upper Marlboro resident who works with low-maintenance dos as well as shapes and cuts that need more in-salon attention. While her current faves are color services, blondes, highlights, and Balayage, she is partial to finding just the right ways to create dimension that flatters personal style.

Jessica can talk about the latest trends as well as classic styles. She enjoys finding great hues through Balayage and dimensional color but styling remains her favorite service. “It is the last step for a client’s hair and pulls everything together,” she explains, “You see your finished work and how pretty or handsome your client looks and feels.”
As you leave the salon, Jessica may remind you to take into consideration how you take care of your hair. She believes in protecting and caring for this investment and is happy to make recommendations for maintaining those tresses.
She excitedly continues taking classes on cutting techniques and color technique and is delighted to be an industry that will forever grow.
Outside of Hudson and Fouquet, Jessica enjoys nice days on the beach and heading downtown to grab food with friends.
Maryland blondes are among the many Hudson & Fouquet clients happy that Jessie Dean left Georgia for the Free State.
After six years in the trade, the master cosmetologist and stylist still wholeheartedly embraces ongoing learning because, she says, “Life is too short for boring hair. Take chances and try new things!” The certified organic colorist’s passion to help clients branch out has been behind some of her extensive continued training with Aveda, Pulp Riot, Matrix, Kerastase, Kevin Murphy, Redken, Schwarzkopf, Welta, and others.
Since Jessie enjoys “creating multidimensional blondes and experimenting with new Balayage techniques,” she develops unique formulas so that no two clients ever leave with exactly the same color. My goal is always to maintain the maximum integrity of the hair, she explains. On that note, when you’re in her chair, expect Jessie to remind you to be patient when working towards hair goals, especially if you’re blonde. “Happy hair is healthy hair and products are your friends. Salon quality products will protect your investment in salon quality color.”
When she’s not devising perfect color, Jessie loves creating styles with texture for all hair types. She has experience with formal styles for weddings and editorial shoots.
Clearly, Jessie enthusiastically relishes her work and her clients at Hudson & Fouquet. “I put the utmost value in my client relationships because I know without loyal, happy, fulfilled clients, I would have no career at all,” she says, “I’ve had to continue to learn and to grow as a stylist and bring the best of the industry to everyone in my chair. I will always provide a judgment-free environment.”

At age 16, Mariah Dove started in hair as a shampoo girl and then completed her two-year Maryland state apprenticeship under Amy Shaw. She became a certified Amika Braiding Master in 2017 (and if you don’t know about this styling trend, ask her)! This year, she received her Brazilian Blowout certification.
When pressed, Mariah couldn’t decide which service was her favorite—she loves bobs, coloring (especially creative and color corrections), updos, and formal styling. However, her goal is clear: “I will always be honest and realistic with my clients to ensure the integrity of the hair is preserved and that you always leave feeling beautiful.”
When you’re in her chair, Mariah will remind you that regular haircuts and good products make hair happy and healthy!

The creative and talented stylist considers himself “mainly a colorist and hair cutter,” and loves all color, although he may be best known for his blondes, from extreme to natural that doesn’t look “rooty” at all.
To ensure that he is clear on his clients’ wishes, PT suggests bringing in a photo. If you don’t have one, PT may whip out his phone to show you photos. “Communication is the biggest thing and we need to make sure we are on the same page so that I can create exactly what you want,” he says, noting that sometimes what one person thinks is blonde is really white blonde. “I’m never unhappy with clients’ needs,” he explains, “And, if we need to make a change, I have no problem correcting anything I’ve done.”
Outside of H&F, if PT isn’t busy hanging with his wife and kids, you’ll likely find him in downtown Annapolis or perhaps playing music with Matt, the two were in a band together for 20 years and still enjoy performing together.
