CLIENT POLICIES

SAFETY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES:

We are so excited to welcome you back with open arms. There are many changes we have made to make sure our salon is a safe haven where you can feel comfortable and relaxed. Before you come into the salon we are asking you to please:

  • Please double check your appointment confirmation.  Stylist’s locations & schedules have changed.  Please take note of your appointment day, time and location.
  • Bring your mask – it must be worn at all times within the salon
  • Please sanitize your hands and complete a brief questionnaire either on your phone or on paper
  • Practice social distancing around anyone else inside the salon
  • Please bring your bank card or contactless payment as it will be cashless payments only

We are also kindly asking customers to reschedule your appointment if:

  • You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days

We are also taking many precautions to ensure the safety of you and our employees. These include:

  • Employees will not be permitted on the premises if they have symptoms and receive temperature checks upon arrival
  • Guests will be served by appointment only
  • Socially Distanced stylist stations
  • Socially Distanced waiting area
  • All Employees wear protective facemasks
  • All equipment used by a stylist is sanitized between guests
  • Clean/Sanitized capes and smocks for each guest
  • Door knobs, credit card machines, handles etc are sanitized

 

RESCHEDULES & CANCELLATIONS:

We understand that life happens and that you may not be able to keep your appointment.  We ask that you give us a minimum of 24 hours of notice, in these circumstances.  Last minute cancellations and ‘no shows’ leave gaps in our stylist’s schedule that we are unable to fill in without sufficient notice.  Thank you for considering your stylist’s time, as well as helping us better serve you and your fellow clients.

Cancellations or Rescheduling within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in a 50% charge of your scheduled services.  ‘No shows’ will result in limited scheduling abilities for future bookings, as well as a 100% service charge for the missed appointment.

Scheduling services totaling $300+ or reserving 3+ hours requires a $50 deposit.  The deposit will be used toward your services the day of your appointment.  Cancellations within 24 hours or no shows will result in the loss of the deposit.  Deposits are non refundable.

LEVELS & PRICING:

H&F Stylists range in levels from Associate to Senior, not including our Owners.  Our pricing varies by each level according to the stylist’s professional achievement & the demand of their time.  Every stylist is constantly improving through continued education.  Whichever level you choose, you will enjoy superior service.

If you would like pricing for color services, please schedule a complimentary consultation with one of our stylists.  After assessing your hair and listening to your hair-goals, they will answer any questions you have and provide you with a price estimate of services.

PARKING:

Annapolis Location: Parking is available on the street in front of the salon and in the Knighton Garage behind the salon.  Street parking is paid for through the PARKMOBILE app, zone 1234.  Please download the app before your visit or arrive a few minutes early, our Guest Services team is happy to provide assistance.  Please be advised – Parking in surrounding businesses’ lots or in residential spaces may result in tickets or towing.

South River Location:  Any open parking place in the shopping center is available to you.

HOME CARE EXCHANGES & RETURNS:

We want you to be happy with the Home Care you purchase from us.  If you would like to try another product, your purchase can be exchanged for another at any time.  For a refund, the product must be returned within 30 days of purchase.  The refund will match the original purchase price.  Extension hair is non-refundable.

REWARDS PROGRAM:

Points are accrued with every dollar you spend within the salon, as well as by referring your Friends & Family to us.  You can save up your points to receive free products and services.  These include various travel size products and masks, along with Kerastase and Oribe conditioning treatments.  Points are non transferable.  All points expire at the end of each year.

BLOW DRIES:

Color services include a blowdry with an H&F Apprentice or Associate level stylist, subject to availability.  If you prefer to see your colorist or a specific stylist for a Blowdry & Style, please let our Guest Services team know to ensure you are scheduled appropriately.  Blowdry & Styles are subject to a service charge.

GUARANTEE:

Our goal is to provide you with beautiful hair that makes you happy.  If you are unsatisfied with any result, please notify us within 5 days of your initial appointment.  We are happy to make complimentary adjustments within 2 weeks of the original service date.  Due to the nature of our industry, and that all services require our stylist’s time, we do not offer refunds for our services.

GIFT CARDS:

Gift cards may be purchased multiple ways; in salon, online through our website, or by phone.  Gift cards may be redeemed for services and Home Care.  Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash and are non refundable.
